My New Job
The first step to believing in yourself is giving yourself a chance. I saw a job listing for a company called Medtronic, a medical product and therapy company. I didn't think that I'd get the job, but it looked like something I would love to do. After debating with myself for a few minutes, I finally decided that it was worth a shot and sent my resume.
Two weeks and six interviews later, I received an offer letter from Medtronic. I had the highest and fastest score on the aptitude test, and the district sales manager said that my interview was the most impressive he has ever conducted. And I was just being myself!!
If I hadn't given myself a chance to be considered for an interview by sending my resume despite my doubts, I would not be in the position I am in today. My first day on the job is tomorrow, and I am glowing :)
Thanks to everyone for your love!
